Homework for A-Day - 5 March 2018

English IV

Today in class we watched some of the adventures of The Creature on his own in the world. He's learned and seen a lot - especially from the Delacey family. Tonight you have no homework to complete. I would recommend, however, if you have missed class or if you are behind on anything that you take a look at PowerSchool.

There are assignments available on Google Classroom that you can complete related to our final Frankenstein project. You can also get caught up on your reading. The quarter ends in three weeks! So it is important to get everything settled ASAP.

Russian Language Students (I, II, III)

All of you have exams coming on Friday. I have scheduled them on Friday so that all of you have the chance to get caught up and prepared through the week. Today in class we focused on several review exercises to help prepare you for Friday's exam. Tonight, I would recommend that you complete any of the following to help you prepare.

  1. Complete reassessments of previous projects for this class. When you do that, submit the project or the rubric (if the project is online) to me so that I know it's ready to be regraded.
  2. Complete any additional exercises to help you review concepts either from our textbook or from the UCLA Beginners Russian textbook which is available online.
  3. Complete the extra credit exercises - Russian I only.
  4. Complete your script for your quick recording - Russian II/III only.
No matter what you are doing to prepare - be sure that you are preparing daily for your unit examinations. Russian I will cover the Introduction, Chapters One and Two. Russian II will cover Chapter 6. Russian III will cover Chapter 6 and Chapter 10.
