AP English III
Tonight ladies and gentlemen you need to spend some serious time working on your arguments and your topics for your research paper. Remember that by the end of this week you will need to have your argument finalized as well as your topics. You will need to start researching and pulling out the pieces of information which you will use to prove your argument as valid.
With Invisible Man make sure that you have read to the end of chapter four and that you have completed your annotations and motif charts. Remember that each chapter will be its own row on the motif chart, even if they are combined in our reading. Prepare questions and ask to your hearts' content!
Russian I
Tonight you will be working on the concept that has been quite confusing for me - the difference between ТОЖЕ/ТАКЖЕ. Complete exercise nine by combining the sentences using either word. Remember that in some cases these words can be used interchangeably, but not often. Use your notes as well as the example sentences to help you with this.
Also be reminded that you have a dialogue activity as well to test your speaking proficiency. We will have time next class to continue working in groups.
Additionally, next class we will begin reviewing this unit and all of the new grammar. You will have a quiz on 3/4 and 3/5 on the most recent topics (adverbs, conjunctions, negation, also) and then you will have a unit test on the whole unit after that, prepare yourself accordingly!
