Honors English II
Thank you to all of you for being flexible with the change in instructor. I hope that you all enjoyed your time with Ms. Baker. Tonight, I would like for you to devote yourself to studying our content so far on Oedipus the King as well as your vocabulary. The date of your vocabulary quiz is still next week, so prepare yourself accordingly. The quiz will likely rely more on the content of the play to answer questions, so a clear knowledge of the play will be important in being successful on this quiz.
This also provides you a chance to submit any late work for a possibly of make-up credit. Remember that progress reports will be given to you next class.
Additionally, next class we will continue to review those discussion questions you ended with today in order to develop more depth in our approach to the questions. Be prepared for that.
ESL English III
Today you received your drafts of your writing with thorough feedback from me and Ms. Gillen. If you need to resubmit your work for a new grade, please do that. If you are ready to move on to creating your comic strip, then please do that. Next class we will begin finishing up with our work on Persepolis in the small groups. You will be presenting your question next class, so if you need to do work at home in order to be able to do that - please do that work on your own.
