AP Literature
Today in class we discussed a second critical lens - the Historical-Biographical as we took another look at Hemingway. Remember that these lenses are not meant to work in isolation, see how they combine to give you more access points to a text. See how you can use them to improve your interpretation of a text.
Tonight, you'll read and annotate "Civil Peace" by Chinua Achebe. There's some great stuff in this text - lots of irony. Pay attention. Do some looking at Achebe's life. Where does it line up? Where is it useful to consider?
We also have a vocabulary card for next class. Remember to do ONE based on the text.
AP Research
Tonight you have your first reflection question. I've posted that in the slides which are available in Google Classroom. Remember to put this in your reflection document which is where you will log all of this reflection work. Keep it all in one place.
You will also want to begin to work on your task and reading log. You're starting. So start!
