Because of the snow day earlier this week things are a little off. Here are the new due dates for upcoming tests and projects.
Shakespeare/Drama Projects - Friday the 6th (A day) and Monday the 9th (B day)
Shakespeare Test - Thursday the 12th (A day) and Friday the 13th (B day)
Rough Draft of Definition Essays and Benchmark Exam - Monday the 16th (A day) and Tuesday the 17th (B day)
Final Draft of Definition Essays - Tuesday the 24th (A day) and Wednesday the 25th (B day)

Tonight's homework is to finish your projects. I will collect these at the beginning of class on Friday/Monday.

Hey Mr. Miller, i was going to go to study hall but i had to go to the hospital. Can I go to study hall on Monday for the essay? Also, I probably won't be at school on Friday so can I also turn in my project on Monday as well?

hey mr. miller when we are writing our climatic essays should we assume that you as the reader has already read the play so we don't have to elaborate of every single detail to explain about the play?
You don't need to go overboard on the elaboration but I need to understand the example and how it connects to your thesis and proves your point.

Jeff - I'd rather you didn't leave out stage directions. It makes the reading of the play a lot easier to understand

mr miller, I was wondering if it was ok to short my scene short for the translation part of the project. Originally the scene is about 460 lines and I was wondering if it would be ok to stop it at about 280?

I was wondering if it would be ok to stop my scene translation around line 280. Originally the scene is about 460 lines. The point where I'm at is a good stopping point but I wanted to make sure it was ok.
Mr. Miller, I'm done with everything except translating the scene of my play. I'm doing one of the battle scenes at the end of the play, and when you say modern day, I assume that I can change horses to tanks and swords to guns, etc. Right?
OH! Also, for the translation, instead of having [Cassius], I have [Cas]. Is that alright, or should I spell out the characters whole names?
