English IV
There is no real homework for you all to complete for me this weekend. If you have missed class and see missing scores in PowerSchool or your progress reports then be sure that you have finished up on that work and gotten it in to me.
Advanced Russian
Very good work today with your presentations on The Amazing Race - Russia. I think that all of you did a good job of clearly expressing yourselves as you spoke about your cities. Make sure that you've done any finishing touches to your project and submitted it via Google Classroom by the end of the day today or tomorrow. I'll grade them and return them this weekend.
You should all continue working on the exercises we began in class. Russian II students should consider verbs of motion and related words and cases - remember that everything depends on the point of view of the speaker. Russian III students should focus on the idea of hypothetical and conditional mood - be sure that you can identify and translate.
Russian I
After yesterday's difficult class I was happy to see you all come in and get to work today. I think that we had a few good breakthroughs related to class and what we can do to improve. For the weekend, be sure that you've finished your projects. Use your notes and charts to help you check your writing and make sure that you are using the appropriate noun and adjective endings for what you want to say.
You should also spend time this weekend working on the Chapter Two vocabulary. Here is a link to an audio file that has the words said by a Russian. Use that to help you with your pronunciation! We'll have a spelling quiz on Friday!
