Homework for 25/26 February

Your homework tonight goes in your journal. Respond to the following prompt:

What is your impression of Lord Capulet by the end of III.4? How has this changed? Why?

Is it OK for me to just cut out parts of Macbeth's speeches (from the translation)? I don't think ruthless, murdering, conniving, greedy, and powerful people today talk about guardian angels. And about translating the setting- do you want us to put that at the top, like in R&J? One more thing...when we turn it in, do you want a copy of the original text? Or just the act and scene numbers.

Ivan - You can just put the new setting at the top in the format of a play. As far as cutting things, I'd rather you didn't. Part of the assignment is trying to find new ways to express these old ideas. Finally, you can just tell me the act and scene of your translation - I'll use my copy of the play for reference.
