Homework for Monday - 3 February 2020

AP Research

Today we began Unit 4. This is the unit where you will do most of the work in this class that is all your own. It's time for us to collect data and organize it so that it aligns with our question. As I've said, there are very few grades in this quarter - in fact I can only come up with seven so far. Be sure to complete everything to your best!

Be sure that you are building your data sets and checking in with your work. If you're doing everything right then the process should begin to be moving toward completion soon. Use this time to complete elements of your POD and Paper that you can. Be sure to use the rubric and your peers as you do this work!

Russian I

Today was our final review day before our Unit 1 Examination on Wednesday. For the exam on Wednesday you should know how to conjugate verbs, change words for cases, and also the way that cases are used to build sentences. Remember that you can buy a cheat-sheet - but you have to buy it before the test on Wednesday.

Study your Chapter 1 Vocabulary as well as your Grammar Charts. Knowing this information is key. Additionally, be sure that you have finished and turned in your About Me project if you didn't do so already.

Advanced Russian

Today in class we spent the majority of our time applying what we know about Verbs of Motion by watching an episode of Орел и Решка and then writing about their travels around Калининград. As we did this we were working on using our verb knowledge and our case knowledge in advance of the quiz on Wednesday.

On Wednesday we will take time to review homework - have it all finished - before we have our quiz. Remember to have your cards - you will have these checked on Wednesday. Friday will be a day with Anna Karenina.
