AP Seminar
As you finish your work this weekend and prepare for your presentation I want to remind you of a few things. First, there's the Course and Exam Description. The Oral Defense questions are on page 50 and 51 and the area around these questions is quite helpful in reviewing the task. Be sure that you are prepared.
IWAs are due to Digital Portfolio and IMP slides are due to Google Classroom. A late submission will result in a two point penalty for lateness. Be aware of when you will present and be ready. Please ask for any help or assistance you may need.
Advanced Russian
Today in class we spent time working through translations. We identified key skills (as well as some review of basic skills) and applied those skills with our translations. Remember that we have unit examinations coming on Monday (after Easter Break). I would finish my preparation by working through the remaining translations and seeking assistance if needed. Remember to study and prepare using the vocabulary in the chapter - this is where I select the words.
I'll be putting project scores in the gradebook today. Be sure that we have finished all project work by the time of the unit exam.
Russian I
Today we began our last unit of the year - Unit 3. And we began by focusing on conjunctions in Russian, specifically AND, BUT, AND/BUT, and OR. Be sure that you know these vocabulary words as well as how they function in a sentence. The exercise tonight - 3.8 - will help you with this. Use the guided sections A, Б, В and combine the sentences using the required/suggested conjunction. As you combine the sentences, rewrite them and translate them. We'll then go through the others as a guided practice.
We'll be presenting our countries next class too. If you need to resubmit on your country projects, be sure that you do that this weekend based on the feedback that I have given you.
