AP English III
Tonight for homework I'd like for you to complete the reading of A. Petrunkevitch's "The Spider and the Wasp" and complete your note sheet for this and Woolf. The Petrunkevitch piece is available at this link. We will be working through Woolf next class and go over how to draft this type of tone analysis assignment. Please make sure that your note sheet is finished as it will be useful in our notes and walk-through of the writing assignment. I will not be assigning a chapter of The Great Gatsby tonight but your next assignment will have you finish the book. You may want to get ahead a bit.
Remember that your tone assignments on Woolf/Petrunkevitch will be collected on 11/4. Your Gatsby projects will be due on 11/13. This is the same day your take-home tests on Gatsby will be due.
