Answer the following question in a one page response.  If you type - make sure that your writing is double spaced, if you hand-write, be sure that it is one-page front and back.  This is a mini-essay.  Make sure that you have a clear thesis/argument statement, that you are using the text and explaining its meaning, and finally that you give a brief conclusion which reviews your findings.

Here is your question:  In what ways is Oedipus a good king?  In what ways is he a good person?  How are these two qualities different?  How do these virtues relate to result in a negative consequence for Oedipus?  How do these qualities relate to the city of Thebes?
